Project SAFE House

Project SAFE is an outpatient treatment/refer­ral program designed to serve individuals between the ages of 12-35 who are or have been engaged in street prostitution. SAFE House is a temporary 30 day emergency shel­ter serving homeless/runaway youth between the ages of 16-20. A youth may come by SAFE House through self referral or through referral sources. Admission to SAFE House is solely voluntary.

Toddler Tales

Eligibility Requirements: under 5 years of age

Toddler Tales is a Friday morning “social” for preschoolers and their parents and/or caregiv­ers. It provides a caring and sharing time for all. The group meets in Room 12 of the Colonie Community Center from 10:00am – 11:30am each week of the school calendar year (follows South Colonie). The program centers on free play, incorporating the use of the gymnasium. Lots of toys, books, a sing-along session and a snack.
