Name of Product: Children's Mood Necklaces and Diva Necklaces
Units: About 51,600 necklaces
Importer: Really Useful Products Inc., of Darien, Ill.
Hazard: The recalled jewelry contains high levels of lead. Lead is toxic if ingested by young children and can cause adverse health effects.
Incidents/Injuries: None reported.
Description: The recalled Mood Necklaces are multi-colored pendants shaped as hearts, moons, shamrocks, spiders, butterflies and lizards that hang from a black chord. The packaging is a black cardboard wrapped in plastic with "Mood Necklace" printed on the front and "Item # JW41001" and "UPC number 898846410011" printed on a sticker on the back.
The recalled Diva Necklaces consist of pendants shaped as the words "ANGEL" or "Diva" that hang from a black chord. The packaging is pink cardboard with "Hand Painted" and "Diva Necklace" printed on the front, and "Item # 21800020" and "UPC number 898846200186" printed on the back.
Sold by: Children's, dollar, and discount stores nationwide from September 2004 through November 2006 for about $1.
Manufactured in: China
Remedy: Consumers should immediately take this jewelry away from children. Consumers should return the recalled jewelry to the store where purchased for a full refund or contact Really Useful Products for information on how to receive a full refund.

Hazard: Metals snaps on the side closure of the boot can detach, posing a choking hazard to young children.
Incidents/Injuries: See Kai Run has received one report of a child starting to choke on a detached snap from the boot.
Description: This recall involves the "Ellis" children's boot sold in pre-walk and toddler sizes 3 through 9. The boots are black with white stitching and were sold with either leather or faux fur lining. "See Kai Run" is written on the sole and insole of the boots. . "Ellis - FF" or "Ellis - L" is written on the side of the shoe box under the Style heading. No other styles or models are included in this recall.
Sold at: Children's shoe stores, department stores, boutiques and Web retailers nationwide from November 2004 through November 2006 for about $40.

Remedy: Consumers should take the recalled shoes away from young children immediately and return them to the store where purchased.

Hazard: The clasps on the necklaces contain high levels of lead. Lead is toxic if ingested by young children and can cause adverse health effects.

Description: The recalled necklaces are silver-colored with multi-colored pendants shaped as butterflies. The pendant hangs from a silver-colored chain. The necklaces' packaging is pink and purple cardboard with "Butterfly Necklace" printed on the front and "Item #JA442" on the back.

Name of Product: Gemco(r) Lemonade Jars
Units: About 6,600

Hazard: The metal spigot contains lead and is in direct contact with the contents of the lemonade jar. Lemonade and other beverages can cause the lead to leach from the spigot. Long-term exposure to lead in children may be associated with behavioral problems, learning disabilities, hearing problems and growth retardation.
Incidents/Injuries: None reported.
Description: The recalled product is the Gemco(r) Lemonade Jar. The product is a six-sided glass jar with a round glass lid and a metal spigot at the bottom of the jar. The jar has a yellow and green label on the front that reads "Lemonade Jar" with a picture of two lemons. There is a sticker on the bottom that reads "imported by Gemco, Div. Lifetime Hoan Corp. Westbury, N.Y. 11590 Made in China."
Sold at: Retailers nationwide from April 2004 through November 2006 for about $16.

Nintendo of America Initiates Replacement Program for Wrist Straps Used with Controllers for the Wii Video Game System
WASHINGTON, D.C. - The U.S. Consumer Product Safety Commission, in cooperation with the firm named below, today announced a voluntary replacement program for the following consumer product.
Name of Product: Wrist Straps Used with Controllers for the Nintendo Wii Video Game System
Units: About 2 Million
Distributor: Nintendo of America Inc.
Issue: If consumers swing the hand-held "Wii Remote" game controllers using excessive force and accidentally let go, the cord connecting the controller to the wrist strap can break, potentially causing the controller to strike bystanders or objects.
Incidents/Injuries: Nintendo has received reports of cords on wrist straps breaking, including three reports of minor injuries not requiring medical attention. All of these incidents occurred when consumers were playing the game, "Wii Sports."
Description: The wrist straps are sold with Nintendo's Wii video game system (pronounced "we"). Its controller, called the Wii Remote, is shaped like a TV remote. Sensors determine the Wii Remote's position in 3-D space, which means that a tennis swing, for example, is done through movement of a consumer's hand rather than by just fingers and thumbs.
The cords on the wrist straps included in this program are 0.6mm in diameter. The replacement cords are 1.0 mm in diameter (see photo below).
Sold by: The Wii video game systems have been sold since November 19,
2006 for approximately $249. The Wii Remote has separately been sold from November 19, 2006 for approximately $39. All Wii video game systems purchased after December 11, 2006 should have the new 1.0 mm cord. All individually sold Wii Remotes purchased after December 18, 2006, should have the new 1.0 mm cord.

Hazard: After extended use, the soft plastic tip on the feeding spoon can loosen and break off, posing a choking hazard to young children.
Incidents/Injuries: No incidents have been reported in the United States. BabySwede has received 11 reports of the plastic loosening on the spoons in other countries. No injuries have been reported.
Description: The recalled feeding spoons were sold under the brand name "BABYBJÖRN," which is printed along the front side of the spoon's handle. The spoons were sold in one package containing two spoons. The spoons are about 6-1/2 inches in length, with a soft, flexible plastic tip sold in two color combinations: blue/red or green/yellow.
Sold at: Specialty juvenile product stores, catalogs and Internet sites from January 2001 through November 2006 for about $9.
Manufactured in: Sweden

Regal Lager Inc. Recall to Repair Strollers Due to Abrasion Hazard

Name of Product: Phil & Teds e3 Strollers with doubles seats
Units: About 14,300
Manufacturer: Regal Lager Inc., of Kennesaw, Ga.
Hazard: Children can touch the rear tires when in the stroller's add-on seat. This can pose an abrasion hazard to children.
Incidents/Injuries: Regal Lager has received one report of a child who scraped his arm from touching the tire in motion.
Description: This recall involves the e3 Buggy which is a three-wheeled stroller with a black steel tubing frame. It is sold in a variety of fabric colors. An additional seat, known as a "Doubles Kit," can be added directly behind the main stroller's seat allowing a second child to ride in the stroller. This seat can either be added on top of the stroller's frame or attached on top of the rear axle in the lower position. When used in the lower position, a seated child can reach the wheels.
Sold by: Baby furniture and baby products stores nationwide, and Internet retailers from July 2005 through November 2006 for about $380.
Manufactured in: China
Remedy: Consumers should immediately stop using the additional rear seat in the lower position on top of the rear axle and contact Regal Lager for free additional rear wheel guards.
