St. Catherine’s Community Based Services is comprised of the Prevention, Access and Visitation and Respite Programs. These programs are offered under contract by the Albany County Department of Children, Youth and Families, the NYS Office of Temporary and Disability Assistance and Home and Community Based Waiver.

Prevention services provide home-based assistance to families where there is a parent or child service need and a risk of foster care placement. The Access and Visitation Program offered supervised visitation for court-ordered cases in which the non-custodial parent can visit with the child. Respite services are provided for children either on an individual or group basis. This gives the parents a break from parenting and the children an opportunity for an outing as well as a chance to work on social-emotional goals.
